When defining a fact table on POS data, I'm using an SQL query to define the dataset. The query tested in Query Analyzer returns all of the data elements without problems.
I copied the query into the Data Source View to set up the Fact Table. When I go to explore the fact table, it is immediately apparent that SSAS is filtering the data as the the most commonly purchased SKU is left off the fact table. I've massaged the data every which way to get SSAS to pick up that missing SKU but it does not seem to like it.
Any insights into this problem would be appreciated.
