Yes, you can export the data to Excel or PDF.

  • Yes, it is possible to export Data Classification recommendations as a PDF or text file. Here are the steps to do so in Microsoft 365 Compliance Center:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Compliance Center.
    2. Go to the Data Classification page and select the Data Classification tab.
    3. Click on the recommendation that you want to export.
    4. In the right-hand pane, you will see the details of the recommendation. Click on the Export button at the top.
    5. Select the format in which you want to export the recommendation - PDF or CSV. Choose PDF if you want to export it as a document, or choose CSV if you want to export it as a text file.
    6. Choose the location where you want to save the file and click on Export.
    7. The recommendation will be exported to the chosen location in the chosen format.Note: The above steps are specific to Microsoft 365 Compliance Center. If you are using a different tool for Data Classification, the steps to export recommendations may vary.
  • To be honest, though, the tool seems to be based only on column names.  It doesn't actually look for columns that, for example, look for 9 digit number or strings of 9 numeric characters.  Of course, it will help you find the "overt" problems according to column names but that's not a guarantee.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
