Error log message: Using dbghelp.dll version 4.0.5

  Hi experts,

  I found 3 SQL Server error log messages this morning in SS2000.  We have installed SP3 couple of months ago.

  1. Using 'dbghelp.dll' version '4.0.5'

  *Stack Dump being sent to D:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\log\SQL00007.dmp

  2. SqlDumpExceptionHandler: Process 73 generated fatal exception c0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. SQL Server is terminating this process..

  3. Error: 0, Severity: 19, State: 0

  Did anyone know what is the solution for this problem?

  Update: The SS 2000 has the latest SP4 on it.

  Hi jenniferhu46,

  We are experiencing exactly the same issue !, anyone know what 'dbghelp.dll' does & why something might trigger trying to use it ?.
