  Hello,

  We are able to connect to SQL Server 2000 through NT authentication from one computer, however on several others we are getting the following errors and was hoping for a little better idea of the source of the problem.

  Connection failed:

  SQLState: '01000'

  SQL Server Error: 11001

  [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]ConnectionOpen

  [gethostbyname()].

  Connection failed:

  SQLState: '08001'

  SQL Server Error: 11 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets][General network error. Check your network documentation.

  Is this a harware issue, or something else...
