We have recently deployed some SQL-CLR functionality that does web-service calls from our SQL-2008 instance to an application server.
From time to time we have noticed exceptionally long execution times for the some of the web-service procedure calls. During these times there appears to be no blocking and no activity for these SPIDS, i.e. no CPU or IO use.
Are there any good diagnostics tools to see what is going on inside the CLR threads? I am particularly interested in examining the stack for a specified thread to see where it is stuck.
