Database Systems that are most popular today in the world and why?

  • I will be a co-speaker at this event on Sunday:

    https://www.meetup.com/sql-explorers-of-delaware/events/291555651/

If you have any interesting materials/sites/discussions and or statistics on the subject, please let me know.

As well as your own thoughts and ideas.

    THANK YOU!

  • This seems like the very first event for a brand new group.  Is it a new Meetup Group?

________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

  • Yes, it is a brand new meetup.

Of course we would be delighted to have a master with your charisma and knowledge to attend (even if it is the last half an hour or Q/A period) and or share several pieces of pertinent information with us, the perpetual apprencies.

    on Sunday, March 5, at 7 p.m.?

  • Thank you for the very kind words but I don't consider myself to be a master of anything.  I get real lucky on some things. 😀

I am a bit confused (a surprisingly normal state for me, especially when caffeine levels are low)... you say Sunday, March 5, at 7 p.m.  The meeting notice says Sunday,  February 26th.  Which is it, please?

  • Ah... never mind... I found the reason for the disparity in the chat...

    Looking forward to the meeting.

  • Hello this is Gulshan Negi

Well, several popular database systems are used today, including MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. Each system offers unique features and capabilities that make it popular in different industries and use cases. All these database systems are known for their speed, scalability, reliability, and security features. Additionally, they have strong user communities that provide support and resources for users.

I hope you are clear now.

    Thanks
