hey friends...
i m having 2 table, in that i have to do is the field of the table1 should be displayed vertically and fields of table2 should be displayed horizontally......
any body can help me out there......

It would be a whole lot easier to help you if you would give us some details to go on. Such as - what does the table look like (post a full DDL and some sample data), and what you'd like the output to look like.
That being said - there are lots of generic examples to look at by simply googling "SQL Server cross-tab query" if you don't want to get specific.
