Create LINE Chart w/ dash-lines, dotted-lines, etc..

  I've created a LINE Chart in RS 2005.   The LINE chart displays 5 lines - each a different color - which looks great when viewing on line.  Our problem exists when we PRINT the report in Black & White - we cannot differentiate between the lines and what they represent.

  Is there a way to render the LINE Chart w/ dashed-lines, dotted lines, etc.. whereby each line is uniquely identified in the corresponding legend?

  You can do dots, dashes, etc., but are limited to three total (solid, dot, dash), so it won't work in your situation. The same place also lets you place markers, and there are enough of these to probably meet your needs.

  Right click your chart, and select "Properties", then on "Data" tab, select the data item you want to change from the "Values:" list, and click "Edit". Under the "Appearance" tab you can do the markers, and if you do want the solid/dot/dash for future reference, it's in the same place and can be popped up by clicking on the "Series Style..." button.
