Connecting to Transbase

    Good Morning,

    I've been asked to extract data from a Transbase database. It appears that a make.db file is part of the file structure. However, I'm not sure how to go about connecting to Transbase to extract the data.

    Has anyone attempted to connect to Transbase for data extraction purposes? How does one go about using a make.db file to re-create the database?

    Im not sure if it helps, but you need to use the transbase odbc drivers. I am in the process of doing the same right now and am having trouble right now with one that is password protected. Not sure what it is or how to get it.

    And where do I find this ODBC driver? I was searching around but no way to find something.

    ODBC driver is correct answer.

    I had installed software that use transbase, so i did not have to install driver separately.

    I think that drivers and tools can be find in trial version of transbase or on this download page: http://www1.transaction.de/transaction/drivers.0.html?&L=1

    Hi everyone,

    can someone help me with few details about transbase DB.

    I want to create a script to convert transbase to mysql.

    I have a lot of files with 000 extension.
