Hi All,
I am looking at enhancing my knowledge in Reporting Domain by taking up a certification. I do have couple of years of experience in Crystal and limited experience in SSRS. I have worked on both SQL Server (2005) as well as Oracle (9i and 10g)
My total experience in IT is around 5.5 years.
Can anyone suggest a certification suiting my reporting/database profile.
Thanks in advance.

Well I assume you already know about the Microsoft 70-448 exam which covers SSRS:

There is also a Crystal Reports 2008 exam:
Unfortunately, Oracle does not have a general BI exam, but they have several specialized exams for Siebel or Hyperion solutions. The other option is the TDWI Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP):

So it comes down to a question of the time, money and effort you are willing to invest in certification. The SSRS and Crystal Reports certifications only require one exam, so I would start with one of these and then proceed to the CBIP certification. Good luck!

Just to add to cppwiz' suggestion on 70-448 , you also need to know about SSIS and SSAS apart from SSRS to take the test.

Thanks CPPWIZ for the advice. Will defenitely look into the SSRS option, but for the moment I am more inclined for a certification in Crystal or maybe even a Microsoft certification in SQL Server 2008.

Thanks touchmeknot..
Yeah, probably owing to my limited experience in SSRS, will not head in that direction for the moment.
