can we use data mining for simulating football game?

  • a cube is a multidimensional structure of data, consisting of dimensions and meaures.

See it as a very clever and programmable Pivot Table. <- 😎 Yes, I said that.

Good starting point to gain some SSAS & Cube knowledge:

This thing is addressing problems that dont exist. Its solution-ism at its worst. We are dumbing down machines that are inherently superior. - Gilfoyle

  • do you think we need cube in this simulation?

you mean i have to generate the data?

Um, that's what I've been telling you. If you want to data mine, you need data (not information). There's a difference.

can i send you the graphic engine of that?

You can post any graphic you want. I'm not going to download it, nor will I do your work for you unless you pay me at least $150.00 an hour. I've got several other projects on my plate, all of which are paying me. I'm not going to volunteer to do your work when I barely have time for my own.

this is the source code of that

You misunderstand what he said. If you want to put the code in a web page and post the URL of the web page, he might be willing to take a look at the code. But no one with a clue will download a .rar file off the internet posted by someone none of us knows. We only have your word for it that there's not a virus, trojan, worm or other malware in that file.

do you think we need cube in this simulation?

Not if you don't want to data mine. If I'm reading your assignment correctly, you don't actually need to do any data mining for your project. However, you did say that's what you wanted to do so you could get the best algorithm. And if you want to data mine, cubes are the best objects there are for that particular goal.

this file that i give you for download is the engine of the simulation that university gives us .so it 's not my algorithm and my code .

i didn't say work on my project i just said to look at that and give me a help .i need some help about the method that i can implement that.just it .so don't download that!!!

    -----------

i said that before .this is the graphic engine not algorithm.

you should know when some one comes to these forum this man coming for help not for commerce.so you shouldn't be here .

i don't begin any thing so my question is not about algorithms .it 's about the method for doing this simulation .and i got my answer .

If I were looking for jobs, I would not be posting on this board and trying to help people work through things. You would be amazed at the number of people who show up on this board expecting us to do their actual work. That's not what this board is for. We have been giving you advice, but now you're pushing past that and asking us to do things that we don't normally do on the forums. Hence my rate comment, which is deliberately meant to stop that line of questioning.

As far as the engine comment goes, it doesn't matter what's in the .rar file and it doesn't matter if you are the most trustworthy person on the planet. Common sense states that no one opens files from people they don't know because of the potential danger to our computers. Sorry, that's just the way it is.
