In addition to having a "bug-out bag" ready to go in case of an emergency, it's also important to plan an intended destination given various scenarios. Simply tossing supplies into the trunk of the car and joining 100,000 other folks on a congested highway system might not be the best decision in the event of something like a tornado or civil unrest. Sometimes sheltering in place is the best option.

Thanks for the comments. Sorry I haven't gotten back. I was on vacation.
And yeah, I'm assuming a bug-in scenario more than a but-out one. However, set for both if necessary.
