Oh, and the bloody desktop booted clean to windows on the first try tonight and is behaving itself...Did you just upgrade to Windows 10?
Err, no.
win10 is a beautiful experience.
Not for me. Other than cut/paste into CMD, it's slow and a pain compared to v8.1 for me.

I think the time that Lynn and Luis invested is starting to pay off. The OP is now asking for explanation of how something works, which I see as a hopeful sign.

Don't count on it. The OP isn't responding to questions that he doesn't want to answer and using the confidential data excuse for reasons why he hasn't given us a proper sample data set.
Nevermind the fact that (s)he still hasn't posted expected result sets despite repeated requests for it. I think there's a serious terminology disconnect between us and the OP.

Not to mention that he was asking for an explanation on something that has been there since the first posted solution, but referenced only the last code posted. I won't post any more code there until I get real input from the OP.

Not to make those of you not able to attend the PASS Summit jealous, but I just went through and setup my schedule and there are multiple session in each time slot I'm interested in. Even worse the time slot I'm speaking in has 5 other sessions I'd like to attend :w00t:

I'll probably do my usual, look at the schedule over breakfast and decide then what I want to see.

Use DBCC TimeWarp to go back and catch the sessions you missed! π (If only that was possible.)
Well, there's the recorded sessions you can view later.

I wouldn't say you were behind the curve, I just have other volunteer activities that have to go on my schedule as well, so I need to know what sessions I'm interested in so I can pick the right times for other volunteer activities.
