Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo more pantsOkay people, you heard the guy. No more mentioning the word "pants". Got it?
Steve.
As if that ever worked before :-D.
Is somebody trying to incite the trolls?
It is 3 pants to pass this bridge!!
What is your name???
What is your quest???
What is the average flight speed of an unladen pants?
Evil Kraig, on the quest for pantalishious pants. Hmmmm, good question. Without me in them, who just threw my pants?
"Why, I don't know... crap" ... "Paaaaaantssss!"
Well, that was easy. Shall we return to our quest for pants?
On a side note, a question about pantitioning... errr, partitioning... came up and I've managed to get foot in mouth disease because I was unaware of a bug that's reported in connect and had come to the wrong conclusion in regards to partitioned views a long time ago. This person could use further help (I'll continue to try but more experienced voices would be appropriate) here.

Wrong - just wrong. I like the comment about school pranks though.

not sure how that 'work your phone through your pants' thing would really work. I can see volume or answer/hang up maybe, but they mention texting? Really? because that wouldn't lead to autocorrect disaster at all...

On a more serious note, I'd like to put together a new presentation, but I'm a bit short on ideas. Any suggestions?

What sort of presentations have you already done before?
And what do you consider your strong points? (i.e., the SQL stuff you really know verses the iffy stuff).

Brandie,
I usually do intro type stuff because, while I'm pretty good, I'm not into the deep internals like others in the Thread. I've done Default Trace, Profiler, Triggers. T-SQL development is probably my strongest area, but I have my hand in a bit of everything but SSAS. I've learned quite a bit about SSIS recently, especially around configurations, event handling, and logging so I'm considering something there, with an expansion into changes coming in SQL Server 2012.
Of course I've also spent a bit of time researching iSCSI and SQL Server since a client is using that and likely incorrectly. I don't know enough to be an expert though.

If you did one on practical uses of new T-SQL features, that would probably be popular.
