[quote-0As requested: "Mädchen für alles" = a utility man or a gofer (not in the meaning of an unskilled worker but rather a person that's called whenever something needs to be done)Strange enough, "Mädchen" is actually "girl", but is translated as "man"... but what would a "utility girl" do?
There is an "adult" translation available, too... But I guess that's not the one Jan was thinking of ;-)[/quote-0]
Ah, I was wondering why Jan had said he was a bicycle, but now I see that's not what he meant. 😀
Now where does the bicycle fit in
Edit: typo. And that in such a short sentence :w00t:

That should be easy. Here's my contribution for the day.

Alvin Ramard (9/1/2010)[hrHow many of here have experience with "Object Data Base Connections (ODBC)"?
None, I imagine.
I used to see a lot of that sort of thing (it's not quite as bad as the requirement for "at least 5 years experience of developing software in Lazy ML" that I saw when Lazy ML was about 18 months old, but very nearly) and it made me disregard completely any job description containing it and add the recruitment agency that sent me it to my s**t list.

Who's going to volunteer to make the .4 post?

Would it be OK if one were to post something, then edit it and take 60 percent of the letters and whitespace out?

Make that 25.3/day
DECLARE @PostCount AS INT
SET @PostCount = 18052
SELECT CONVERT(NUMERIC(5,1), (20000.0 - @PostCount)/ DATEDIFF(DAY, GETDATE(), '2010-11-18'))

In English (British variety, maybe not American) "office bicycle" is the "adult" translation Lutz mentioned (which was the only sense I previously knew of the German phrase - demonstrating that a little knowledge of a language may be a dangerous thing).

How about we simplify the whole thing:
select ceiling( Alvins-calculations )
That means 26 posts a day. Now, no one needs to post a partial post.
(lol)

Here's the partial post.
Lynn, why don't you
