  • Very nice. Thanks. That's one of my favorites too.

  • Thanks Ryan for sharing some Christmas warmth!

  • I wish you all a wonderful and blessed Christmas season and a Happy New Year.  I look forward to another year of interaction with all of you with similar backgrounds and interests.

I continue to appreciate how blessed my wife and I are as last evening we shared pizza for dinner with friends of fifty years.  A week ago it was the same with another couple from the same era.

The last couple weeks I too have been enjoying our digital Christmas music in our home office as I am privileged to continue playing with my tech toys.

All the best to you in the new year

  • Nicely put Ryan, and particularly coming from a mostly technical forum.  Happy Christmas!

  • Why I was never popular with bosses:

Boss:  Welcome to the shortest day of the year!

Me:  Aren't all days 24 hours?

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

  • A great thought. Oh Holy Night is one of my favorites too, but the significance of that line has escaped me until your highlighting of it.  Thanks!

  • Very nicely put, Ryan. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to everyone.
