dorgone– adj. wondering if you could slip away from an event or group conversation without anyone noticing your absence.
I’m not often concerned about announcing my arrival or departure at many events. I do try to greet people as I see them or say goodbye, but there are many who try to ensure they let everyone know. They make it a point to walk around and see everyone.
My wife likes to do this, and I will, but if not, I know that I don’t need to wonder about dorgone, I can just walk away and things will be fine.
I’ll always miss someone and I don’t need to be perfect. I’m not the center of attention, nor do I need to be, at most events.
