SQL Saturday is a full day FREE training event for SQL Server professionals and those wanting to learn about SQL Server. This event will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the New England Tech East Greenwich Campus located at 1408 Division Rd East Greenwich, RI 02818. Admittance to this event is free, but we do charge a lunch fee of 10.00 so that we can provide a lunch - not pizza! Please Register soon as seating is limited, and let friends and colleagues know about the event.

Featured Speakers

Paresh Motiwala is a Senior SQL DBA for over 12 years. He has gone way beyond the role of a conventional DBA. He also works as a PM and mentors new colleagues. He has recently taken a Digital Forensics at BU and has applied that to SQL DBs. He has spoken at PASS conference and multiple SQL Saturdays around the region. His pet topics are "Business Networking", "From DBA to PM in 75 mins", "Write your own SQL Best Practices Document". Wayne Sheffield started working with databases in the late 1980's, using xBase languages. With over 20 years in IT, he has worked with SQL Server (since 6.5 in the late 1990's) in various dev and admin roles, with an emphasis in performance tuning. He is the author of several articles at www.sqlservercentral.com, a co-author of SQL Server 2012 T-SQL Recipes, and enjoys sharing his knowledge by presenting at SQL PASS events and posting on his blog at http://blog.waynesheffield.com/wayne.

Jason Brimhall has 10+ yrs experience and has worked with SQL Server from 6.5 through SQL 2008 R2. He has experience in performance tuning, high transaction environments, as well as large environments. He is currently a DB Architect and an MCDBA and also a Microsoft Certified Master(MCM). He is he VP of the Las Vegas User Group (SSSOLV).
