• You can get by without creating the extra temp table...

    SELECT d.Name,t.N*10 AS DeciCount

    FROM (SELECT Name,COUNT(*) AS TheCount

    FROM #Name

    GROUP BY Name) d

    INNER JOIN dbo.Tally t

    ON t.N <= d.TheCount
