Although recently retired from database work, I'll still read SQL Server Central. It is fitting that of my favorite quotes is from Michelangelo, who at 87, said "Ancora imparo" which translates to "I am still learning"

I think you have to be older to appreciate the truth in that Thomas Paine quote. That is in the same vein as

Or as one of my friends puts it. "Sometimes you just have to let them have their car crash"
