thanks for the reply, there is around 50 reports in a folder which needs to be taken cant take database backup because at the time of restoring changes may effect...

but as tempdb will get corrupt, i guess it wont require to stop SQL server because it will automatically stoped ? and if tempdb is corrupt, will SQL start in...

HI, i found such a log related to dead lock after turning on correct trace flag.

please suggest something if you can find out actual cause of dead lock or decode...

I turned off them and only one trace flag is there, when i run

dbcc tracestatus command it gives result like

TraceFlag StatusGlobal Session

1222 ...

i enabled these two flags (3226,1204) yesterday only, before that only one(1222) flag was enabled and log for yesterday was as follows :-

i am confused if i restore diff. bkup which was taken at 10:00 am, will it allow me to restore Tlog backup of 10:30? because according to concept of LSN...

please help on this if any body can through light on it.

NO NO, Tlog bkup happenes at every 1 hr like 9:30 , 10:30 ,11:30, 12:30... so on

so i am confused if i restore diff. bkup which was taken at 10:00...

thats wat i thought but main question is that diff. backup taken at 10 AM and Tlog Bckups taken at 9:30 and 10:30 and 11:30 and so on
