backup reports

    can any body let me know how to take backup of reports, as one user asked me to do so.

    please reply its urgent

    Backup in what format?

    You can copy the RDL from report manager into an RDL format

    You can backup the ReportServer database

    You can use RSScriptor to script out all objects from reporting services

    Or better still use a source control application like TFS where you can check versions of reports into source control so that you can revert to previous versions.

    thanks for the reply, there is around 50 reports in a folder which needs to be taken cant take database backup because at the time of restoring changes may effect others, best i found to download rdl files but will i have to go on each report and clicl for download rdl or any other to take backup of complete folder.
