The new forum is supposed to have better spam integration. The current SPAM engine just doesn't seem to be learning fast enough

As Eric mentioned, yes. TDE is the entire database, all the mdf/ndf files. Partitioning fits within here, so this works fine.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: When you go through recovery, you apply roll forward and rollback. There's no mechanism to undo these things. A Standby file allows tracking of these items...
