Try adding % before and after the proc name.
Also, sometime I find after typing the filter I have to press otherwise the profiler doesnt apply the filter! Strange!!!

I had a very similar issues with a Dev's PC.
I updated to the latest graphics driver and it seemed to be a little quicker (not perfect)!

What Logon cred's are assigned to the SQL Agent?
Do that user have a default database set? If it doesnt check that the SQL Agent user has access to that DB?

Install SP3 last week into my Prod env.
Had no issues with the install or the P2P setup I have.
I would recommend running it through stage/qa 1st.

You can log certain commands on the IIS server. This doesnt give you the SQL commands but verbose information on the connection via the web server.

Above the Office 12 connection there is one specifically for Excel. I use this one and it works very well.

Sort this one.
You have to manually add the "source field" with the required expression and then change the "VariationOf" to the field it is a calculation of.
