I see what you mean. Can you please clarify which performance counter you're lokking at?
Processor - %Processor Time has a numeric instance for each logical processor and not for sqlserver...

It's not a perfect solution because if you have heaps it won't work, but you can look to the sys.dm_index_usage_stats for everything else.
Something like this:

Is it a heap table? There's a well known issue with deleting from heaps without the appropriate locks. Use WITH TABLOCK in the DELETE statement to work around it. Or,...

AUTO_SHRINK kicks in when 25% of the database space is unused. See https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb522682.aspx
Performance implications? Many and nasty. Fragmentation primarily. See this blog for details: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlserverstorageengine/archive/2007/03/28/turn-auto-shrink-off.aspx

* CVS
* TFS

You can evict the old node and then add the new node to the cluster. Would it work for you?

You're right: the constraint name is system generated, so it won't likely be the same on different databases. It's a best practice to name constraints to avoid fighting with different...

Highly debatable...The ISO standards suggest that table names are pluralized. I admit that I agree with Celko on this one.
No problem... I don't follow those either. 😛

I have to admit that the points you make are good....

If the updates require a Windows restart, go for it. You'd better do it when users are not using the database, so plan downtime with them.
