    They are not viewing query store, this is from a user db which they have db_owner permission but below erro

    The maintenance is done well on my side. The puzzling thing is after the OS upgrade on non-prod env i'm having this issue of tempdb...

    Isn't based on the number of processors on the box to create the same number of tempdb data files? I guess will have to up the disk size...

    I've been monitoring the load on the VM and noticed the CXPACKET wait was too high, so for now I have changed the maxdop to 1 and cleared the waits...

    Microsoft stated I should use my old SSMS 2008 as there's no solution or just update the SSMS with 2014SSMS but introduces other errors

    The VM is hosted with other VM's running on the same tin of which I dont have the number of other vm's...
