Maybe we can be called the "Golden Eagles" or something like that.

Hey, that's too close to Nigeria, them being the "Super Eagles" 🙂

    That's okay. I'll...

    Is there something I'm missing?

Nope. There's no concatenation of user-inputted values directly into the string, so that's pretty safe as you've done it.

    Just one small point, you...

  • RE: Trying to optimize a WHERE clause

I just re-read Gail's first article. I am not concatenating ANY input parameters as strings; they are all being passed as parameters. The only concatenation that occurs is...

  • RE: Talking baseball

I don't disagree with your sentiment, but I don't think what happened to Galarraga on Wednesday should be included in that mix. To his credit, Jim Joyce owned up...

Good, you might want to post the parcel of code if someone else is looking for the same answer?

And we might review some of it, maybe it can...

  • RE: Trying to optimize a WHERE clause

GOT IT TO WORK!!! I set it up to pass the parameters rather than appending them to the string. It works like a champ!

    Thanks for your help, everyone!

  • RE: Trying to optimize a WHERE clause

J-F -- yes, this is helpful! Before I read your post, I actually did manage to get my SP working properly using dynamic SQL. However, as you mentioned,...
