It's a very small shop, and I'm one of those that tries to get it working with all permissions, no security, etc... then we'll tighten it up. (Case in point......

Allow me to add to that post I just submitted... SQL Agent Mail LOOKS like it took the Outlook Express profile, but I can't send a test message with it......

Same problem here, and both SQL Server and SQL Agent are running under the same account (domain administrator). Outlook was set up using while logged in as administrtor, as well. ...

I'll answer that last question... at least for me. We need to know the date/time rows in the database were last inserted, updated or deleted... preferably a list...
