ensure all nodes are online and use SQL Server configuration manager to change the account and\or password. The cluster service should handle the rest.

path and filename of the database or path and filename of the backup file generated by the backup process?
Are your databases backed up natively or using a 3rd party product?

Native compression is good but if you enable TDE compression is negated. Litespeed or SQLBackup will compress and encrypt your backups

I have been assigned to install SQL on a cluster by my boss. Where should the dlls, data file and log file be installed. It is connected to SAN....

Most of us by now have encountered the issues with the RTM SQL Server 2008 installation media...
Therefore some of us have not.
