So, do we need to take full backups and send to DR location and reconfigure log shipping natively?
No, just remove the Litespeed Log shipping plan apply any remaining logs...

you'll need to drop the Litespeed LS plan and recreate it natively. This really isn't hard to do if you understand LS

Could not, inherited system, issue with master backup restore process. It was a nightmare.
so when you inherit a system always check that critical backups are in place

Unfortunately it had to be rebuilt.
Once you rebuilt the system databases you should have restored master from a backup, I'm guessing you didn't?
