    I have a powershell script that runs robocopy from sql server agent

    Cut out the middleman and just use PoSh to copy the files instead of Robocopy 😉

    was the database still listed as joined to the AG?

    For some reason only 1 entry was created per listener on dns.(instead of 2)

    is this a multi subnet cluster?

    Yes, the SPN for the listener and the node both exist and are being used to access the server. We had to create them manually because we are using...

    so, you have a valid AD domain controller, a valid DNS infrastructure and a primary dns suffix.

    So you do have access to AD and DNS, the fact you were granted...

    SQLsrvr.exe -m this did not work either -m unrecognizable

    You have to run this from the folder where the exe lives, usually

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.INSTANCEID\MSSQL\Binn

    As i said before...
