    Ah, gotcha! That changes things up a good bit :-).

    Access may well be a more workable solution, then, provided the DBAs aren't overwhelmed presently. Pass-through queries...

    I would think the speed would be the bigger issue. Basically the queries have to be smartly made. Something that will take what people want to receive, and be smart...
