The user doesn't have access to profiler. Will revoking access to trace work even DBCC Traceon? I didn't think you could deny specific DBCC commands?

It's not an ideal situation we are in, but we want to be able to track or watch for any, oh, lets say malicious activity this individual may attempt. ...

The database group was a relatively new area for my company and as such was set up with an "open"...
