Not only changing the primary key column, we want to change remaining columns in the record..

By using on update cascade we can update the primary & foreign key...

Then UPDATE CASCADE would be the most obviously easy solution.

How many times are you updating a primary key?

Is it an option to go to the DB2 database and execute the source query there, just to see if it works?

What is the exact error that you get?

Is it possible to show us the source query that you have written?

You can also write a second UPDATE statement in your application logic,...

Use FTP?

Preferable an FTP tool that can resume an interrupted transfer, since you have fairly large files?
