Chek firs mdf and ldf is exist or not..
if exist run below coommand on master DB
ALTER DATABASE 'DATBASE NAME' SET OFFLINE WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE

The job is executed from a vba macro. Perhaps I should capture the login here and update the table, but was hoping to have it done in one update...

HOST_NAME() returns the name of the server the job is executing on.
