The bad part about this advice is that I've heard it from a whole lot of people and they're correct... they definitely not "average" . They're actually quite a bit below...

I've never enjoyed working for a company that allowed Dev to Prod deployments in minutes. Too much time ends up being spent fixing stuff and too many customers are lost...
