Rather than dropping tables that you may have to restore when the phone does ring, rename them with a prefix of "ToBeDeleted_yyyymmdd_" where "yyyymmdd" is a date that's 5 weeks...

Again, what are the first 4 bytes of the file? Data or 0xFFEE or ??? Also, your row termination is wonky... what do you expect "\r\0\n\0" to actually do for...
