Heh... not difficult to imagine at all if there are a dozen indexes on the table and no maintenance has been done either on the indexes or the statistics. 😉

It's not the change from SQL Server 7 to 2000 that did it. It's the fact that you had to do a new snapshot to make it work in...

Did you, by any chance, have the file you create with the @ECHO command open in a word processor or NotePad when you tried to run the BCP command?
