Its part of a scheduled job, that runs overnight and outputs to a text file...which then gets picked up by another package and sent out to remote locations...

The other thing is that SQL is not SQL between vendors... you're looking for a DB2 solution which could be quite different than the SQL Server solutions you'll get. ...
