it's pretty much a single purpose database and it has crazy numbers on the write waits on the tempdb and high workfile numbers.ed

Borrowing on Eirikur's test data, the Hierarchical Path and the hLevel can be used to format the output a bit (look at the Dept_Name column) and sort the hierarchy...
