I feel the need to point out that sql 2005 is about to go out of support.

Any reason why you're not upgrading to 2008 R2? Or even Denali...

How long does the restore of your databases take? Do you have a detailed description of your recovery process. Do you have a replacement in case you will not be...

I could restore from last Chrismas to ten years from now will all the tlogs...

What are your RPO and RTO?

Still got this problem

tried the random idea of it being SP1 that caused the problem so removed SP1, but still cant connect.
