SQL Server can, depending on hardware, handle a huge number of simultaneous inserts. That's not the problem.
If the inserts were failing and being rolled back, you'd have gaps in...

What application are you trying to connect from?

SSIS can select from the system views, then do a For Each Next loop over the tables.
So, of course, can dynamic SQL.
Go with whatever you're comfortable with.

Try changing this:
on profile.acct = BACKUPSQLSRV3.trading.dbo.account.acct
to:
on profile.acct = account.acct
See if that does what you need.
