We mostly do bulk loads in our databases. nearly a lakh data will get inserted/updated in our databases everyday.
In those cases, fk relationship will degrade the insert/update operation....

I'd suggest checking the settings on the tempdb. It can be set to auto-shrink and then, yes, you're looking at serious issues, but in general, I'd definitely move tempdb to...
