If you have a log backup damaged and no copy of it, then you'll either have to reinitialise or use a differential backup to bridge the gap in the log...

The only upgrades are from the SQL 2005 ITP. If you don't have that, you'll be starting over with the 2008 exams.

So you are definitely bottlenecked on IO? Is the IO performance more important than the availability? I ask because the general design of the filegroups (which tables go where) is...

Oh, and do some root cause analysis on why the DB went suspect. That's not a normal or expected occurrence, likely means some IO problems somewhere.

Disabling is easier because you can just rebuild the index afterwards and don't need to worry about the definition (ALTER INDEX <index name> REBUILD). If you drop it, you'll need...

Drop or disable the indexes before, rebuild them after. First though check that they are necessary. DTA is very prone to over-recommending.

Drop the database and restore a full backup. The database has been marked suspect and no logs restores will work

The first question is what is your goal?
Are you splitting the database for performance reasons and, if so, have you checked and ensured that you really are bottlenecked on IO?
Are...

If continue after error doesn't help, then the backup is completely unrestorable. You'll have to ask for a fresh backup of the DB.

The 2005 exams have been retired, you won't be able to write them any longer. I suggest start with the 2008 ones

It can if the IO subsystem can't handle the load of the queries plus the backups, but that's the only way it could.

67 did the following, in sequence:
Assign message
execute xp
Assign message
execute xp
print before
print error number
print no error
print after
Looks like 3 separate executions, 2 with errors, one without.
