Partitioning is not for performance.
Please post query, table definitions, index definitions and execution plan, as per http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/SQLServerCentral/66909/

Execution plan and the query's waits as a minimum. I'd suggest an extended events session for the waits. Google Jonathan Kehayias extended events waits. He has a post somewhere.

Then you may not need to restore at all. See http://sqlinthewild.co.za/index.php/2009/06/09/deleting-the-transaction-log/

Need more detail. What do you mean by 'crashed'? What's the exact current state of the database? And why are you waiting 3 days before restoring the database?
Do you have...

If the index is useful, duration usually decreases as well. Just be careful how you're measuring duration. If you use statistics time, that includes any time necessary to compile the...

Why persist it?
I added it to my code because of the following property of using Persistence:
- Any update in referenced column will be synchronized automatically in computed column...

Most likely the data volume changed, the optimiser picked a different plan and since it had no requirement to preserve order it didn't.

If the block belongs to an allocated page, that will cause further corruption.
What's the error on the backups and what does the following return?
DBCC CHECKDB (<Database Name>) WITH NO_INFOMSGS, ALL_ERRORMSGS

Someone's been directly updating (or in this case deleting) from the system tables.
If you're feeling brave... and have taken a backup.
EXEC sp_configure 'allow updates', 1
RECONFIGURE
GO
UPDATE sysobjects set uid = 1...
