I think that although the quality of software coming from Redmond has dramatically improved over the last few years, there will always be a requirement to enable local manual uninstallation...

This is quite horrifying as projects that I have been involved in that had some component of document management employing scanning then destroying originals did not come across this issue...

I like stored procedures as they both restrict the ways the database is accessed and are completely testable units themselves. Working against views makes sense to me but possibly unnecessary...
