  • RE: Join problem when convert joins with non ansi to ANSI format

    Hi

Looks equal for me but I'm no pro in this non-ansi syntax. Could you please explain more detailed what's the difference in the returned data? Some test data would be...

  • RE: Best Insert Option

    Hi

Your first option is not a good practice since it uses a cursor (while loop) to insert 100 single rows.

Your second option seems to have a little typo, but is...

  • RE: ExecuteNonQuery and RETURN

    Hi

Maybe wrong execution to get the return value?

This works fine on my system:

    CREATE PROCEDURE dbo.usp_TestReturn

    RETURN 10

    END TRY

    BEGIN CATCH

    RETURN 20

    END CATCH

  • RE: Inetegrating VSS with SSMS

    Hi

You have SSMS2k5 and SSMS2k8 installed, didn't you? This is a problem in the combination of both. Microsoft has a hotfix for SSMS2k5. SSMS2k8 should work with latest service pack.

Hey, that's a cool feature! Hadn't seen that before.

  • RE: Performance issue with tally solution

    Great idea Lynn!

Since Paul was 0/4 time due to only one logical read and your inline tally don't need any logical reads we can say this version needs (0/4)/8 milliseconds...
