yes, i will have 1 tempdb split over 2-4 data files

this is an old post, since this we have upgraded our server - which has 5gb more memory, put the dbs, tempdbs,logs etc all on there own disc subsystem...

im logging ino the server as admin/sql admin already - so the solution is not for me !
