Sorry I missed something glaringly obvious.
Your using Windows Authentication, the server isn't on the domain so you cant use windows auth, you need to use SQL auth.
But the error message...

Whats putting the \ at the beginning of the servername?
The servername should be TTDEV\TEKNOTRANS_DEV or 192.168.0.12\TEKNOTRAVS_DEV (assuming that IP is the IP for the machine called TTDEV) not \TTDEV\TEKNOTRANS_DEV

Depends on the licenses you can purchase. If your vendor can supply 2012 licenses then your bound by the 2012 licensing rules, if they can only supply 2014 licenses...

Does reports_dmb have the same tables as ReportServer?
If not then its not a SSRS databases, its probably the source for all of the data the reports use.
