Forgive the inane question, am having a senior moment. But when using the reporting services configuration manager to set the web services URL is it better to accept the default that is suggested, which frankly looks a bit odd or simply change it to ReportServer?
I have inherited a box with SSRS installed but not configured, normally I would configure as part of the install but simply having a moment......:hehe: :w00t:

Depends how you want people to access the web service?
Generally the default is just hostname / IP address, usually in the form or something like http://+:80/ReportServer.
Basically that's just saying use any access method to connect to the service.
If you want to do it something different, then you can change it via the advanced option.
